Glorieuse Richarde
Glorieuse Richarde
“My name is Glorieuse Richarde. I am the head trainer for rubble-wear for the Oak Project at Maison Orphanage in Port au Prince, Haiti.
I'm born in a four children's family in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. I grew up with my mom and dad. I'm a little bit chay, but have a best friend who's name Lamercie whom I use to share ideas, sadness, and happiness.
I'm a saleswoman. I used to sell stuff in public market that helped me to support my four children in their school and food. I live with my husband, his name is Ricardo. He's a good man who always shows me comprehension, and always ready to help me when I need.
I have been a Christian since 1988. I can tell you that is one of the best experience that I have ever made in my whole life. Jesus Is my everything, and He's the only one that I put my trust on.
I lost my grandma during the earthquake. That made me so sad, cause she represented a lot for me. Sometimes, when I am thinking about her encouraging words and advices, that make me cry. But, God is always there to comfort me.
I met Kelly after the earthquake. She's my wonderful friend. The friendship she offers me makes me feel that she's someone special in my life. Also, I can tell that her and her friends want helps me to learn something in my life, and make me earn some money to help my family.
Rubble-wear with Marian as my teacher, changes my life. It gives me the opportunity to learn something for my life, and also to earn more money that could help me with my children's school and food and home. I can tell that rubble-wear is a kind of way that God uses to bless me, my family, and community.
I always remember Kelly's team when they visit and leave. They always bring hope and joyfulness in my heart.
My favorites? I like green. In my country, our favorite food is rice and beans which means I like that too. Next, I like fruit orange juice, lemon, etc...
That's all I have to share with you that my life is about.
May god bless you!!!”
