“Hi!

My name is Filder Jean Hilaire. I am the rubble-wear manager for the Oak Project at Maison Orphanage in Port au Prince, Haiti. I grew up with my family in Port-au-prince, Haiti. I have 5 brothers and 2 sisters. One of my big brother, Guerson, is my best friend. We talk about everything in life. He used to advice, encourage, and sometimes get mad at me too.

I love education. I have been a teacher for four years ago. I used to teach science and biology. I'm not married yet, But just have a girlfriend that I love so much.

Also, I love Jesus more than my girlfriend. I have been a Christian for fourteen years ago. If everyone have to believe in something, for me , I put my trust in God. No matter what may come in my way, I will still live God's experiences in my

Whole life everyday.

I lost mom and Dad in the earthquake. I can tell how that has hurted me, and how I've cried. But God, in his almighty, comforted me, strengthen me. Through his words, I realize that the greatest thing that I could never loose wasn't my parents, even my soul, but his holy spirit. Now, I don't have to scare about nothing cause I deeply feel that I'm secured with an invincible hands.

I met Kelly and her friends after the earthquake. I can say that this meeting has changed my whole life. He brought blessings to me, new experiences, new friends, and a new vision for my future.

The blue of the sky is my favorite color. I like bananas, potatoes and all vegetables. I like lemonade, orange juice, and Coca!!!”
