Well, a group of us went to see that movie this past Friday and we recommend it to you! You will laugh, cry, hear Madea really mess up a Bible story, and watch a woman’s heart be reborn! It’s really great.
The moms and I are also excited about “Precious” which will be released here in Chattanooga on November 6!! You can see the preview for “Precious.”
Keep in mind that this movie will be very realistic of the trials of so many kids in the inner city…so, you will not want to bring your little ones.
Also, an incredible movie with Sandra Bullock called The Blind Side is coming out the weekend of November 20. Here is a link to that: trailer.
if you are interested in going to see either of these movies with us, please let us know by just sending me an email and we’ll get the info to you on when and where!
Our next group is tomorrow night and we will be discussing the first two chapters of “A Perfect Mess” by Lisa Harper. A few of the moms are also attending a great study on Wednesday nights at Calvary Chapel called, “Deeper.”
We love and appreciate all of you!
We had our fall small group kick off on Sunday August 30th! The Rawlings were sweet enough to let us cook on their grill and enjoy their amazing yard!
This past Tuesday we had our first official group together at The Oak House! Mr. Fred spent the day getting the house clean for everyone!
Keep this fall group in your prayers as they dig into the book called, “A Perfect Mess” by Lisa Harper. You can find out more information on Lisa and her book at lisaharper.net. And we are so excited that our wonderful volunteer Sherry Quintrell will be facilitating this fall study!!
This will be a wonderful journey for our ladies and will be completed only two days before our Family Gathering on November 19!
This past Tuesday went so well! This fall we are so thankful to have Ritchie and Ashley Johnson working with our younger kids, Niki Davenport and Amy Milling to hanging out with our teenage girls and Ann Quintrell was able to help with the little ones at our first meeting.
Ann has been with us all summer and she is heading off to England next week to stay for a year! We are all so thankful for the time she has spent tutoring our kids, transporting numerous people, running errands and just living out a life of beautiful love and service. Thank you, Ann
Thanks to all of you guys!
I posted a few pictures of our cookout at our new Flickr account and our first study night for you to enjoy!
